Integration

QuickBooks inventory management that starts with a scan

Counts, costs and invoices flow to QuickBooks Online automatically — your team scans in StockZip and the books stay balanced.

Connection flow

How the connection works

01 · Scan and sell in StockZip

Pick, invoice or receive against a purchase order on the warehouse floor — the same workflow you run today.

02 · StockZip pushes the document

When an invoice or purchase order is finalised, StockZip sends it to QuickBooks Online for you — no export, no CSV.

03 · It lands in your books

The invoice or purchase order appears in QuickBooks with its customer, vendor and product records matched or created.

Set up in three steps

01 · Join the early access list

Add your account to the QuickBooks early access list — we open it in stages so every rollout is supported.

02 · We switch it on for you

Once your account is enabled, the QuickBooks tile appears under Settings → Integrations, ready to link.

03 · Connect and match accounts

Sign in with Intuit, pick your income and COGS accounts (we suggest sensible defaults), and sync runs on its own.

Frequently asked questions

Is the QuickBooks integration available yet?
It is in early access. The connector is built and sandbox-tested, but we are switching it on account by account. Join the list and we will enable it for your account as the rollout reaches you.
What syncs to QuickBooks in this release?
Finalised invoices and purchase orders push to QuickBooks Online, creating the matching customers, vendors and products as needed. Stock counts, movements and reports stay in StockZip.
Does data flow back from QuickBooks into StockZip?
No. This release is one-way: StockZip pushes invoices and purchase orders out to QuickBooks and nothing is pulled back in, so StockZip stays your source of truth for stock on hand.
Which plan do I need for the connector?
The QuickBooks connector is a Pro-and-up feature, stated up front like every StockZip feature. Free and Starter accounts can join the early access list and upgrade when it opens.
What happens with multi-currency documents?
To protect your books, StockZip skips any invoice or purchase order whose currency differs from your QuickBooks company currency, and records the reason in the sync log rather than posting a mismatched amount.
Are credit notes synced?
Not in this release. Credit notes stay in StockZip; only standard invoices and purchase orders are sent to QuickBooks for now.
