The free inventory app that is actually free
Every new account starts with a free 14-day Pro trial — the full product, no credit card. When it ends you keep a free plan, forever: phone barcode scanning, folders, low-stock alerts and a reason logged on every quantity change, for 10 items and 1 user.
Free 14-day Pro trial · no credit card · keep 10 items free forever · export anytime
What “free” actually means here
Every new account begins on a 14-day Pro trial with no credit card: the full order workflow, check-in / check-out, stock counts, reports and the Counter POS. Test your real operation, not a crippled demo. When the trial ends you are never charged — the account simply moves to the free plan.
After the trial you keep 10 items, 1 user, mobile barcode and QR scanning, folder organization, low-stock alerts, and adjust-quantity with a reason on every change — free forever, no card, no expiry. The paid line is published up front: label printing, check-in / check-out, stock counts, custom fields, the audit log and reports start on the Starter plan ($15/month billed annually); order workflows, lot and serial tracking and the API are Pro.
Export to CSV whenever you like, on any plan including free. If you upgrade, your items, folders and history carry over automatically — no migration, no re-import. If you leave, you take your data with you.
From spreadsheet to scanning, on the free plan
Free inventory software should do the real job, not a crippled demo. Here is the whole first-day loop.
Upload your existing spreadsheet (CSV or Excel), map the columns, and your first items, quantities and locations are in the system — no manual retyping.
Use the iPhone or Android camera to scan barcodes and QR codes — no hardware to buy. Look items up, adjust quantities and move stock between folders.
Set a minimum per item and StockZip flags low stock before the shelf is empty. It all works offline and syncs the moment you are back online.
