A day in the life with StockZip

Test gear out. An OTDR and a fusion splicer are checked out to the tech for the day, so the high-value kit is tied to a name instead of floating between crews.
Install, no signal. A router goes in at a subscriber address in a dead zone. The tech records the serial against the job offline, and StockZip syncs it back at the truck.
Reel running low. The build area drops below its minimum on drop cable, so the item surfaces in low-stock and the warehouse restocks the van before the crew is short.

How the work flows
The store is a folder with racks and a gear cage under it. Restock cable, connectors, splice trays, and patch panels by scanning them in, capture routers and ONTs by serial number, and set a minimum on the fast movers so a shortage shows up before a crew is stuck on a build.
Each van is its own folder. Scanning reels, parts, and serial-tracked equipment from the shelf onto a van moves the counts with them, so the store can see what every crew is carrying to which build without a phone call.
Techs pull cable, install routers by serial, and check test gear out as the work happens — offline in a handhole, a cabinet, or a subscriber basement with no signal. The record updates the moment stock moves and syncs when the phone reconnects.
Checked-out OTDRs and splicers come back in by scan with a who-had-it trail, leftover reels and connectors move to the next build folder, and each installed router keeps its serial history — so a warranty claim months later points to the exact unit and address.
